Potential Bilic replacements
Come Christmas (if not before) -- when Slaven gets tinned -- who do we think we will be charged with trying to save us?

Curbishley
Brooking
Redknapp
Poyet
Di Canio
Benetiz (as he will have been sacked by Madrid by then)

Going to need to be a quick impact replacement as we could well be cut adrift by then.

First time I've ever said this to an opening post, but:

FUCK OFF!

'Benetiz' sounds exotic. Now delete this shit. Curbishley was our worst manager, pound for pound, ever.

That is total bollocks.

Curbishley rescued us from relegation when we had been 1/66 to go down.

Yeh I don't see how Curbs can be charge with being our worst ever manager when he is one of the few to never take us down!

Curbishley will never be liked by some people for not taking us down.

His football was not very entertaining but he did a job. We will never know what would have transpired if he had remained but it might have saved us a relegation.

This just reeks of being a wind up thread

Re: Potential Bilic replacements
Preventing Relegation is not what I judge managers on. And he dit it last day of the season (actually Tevez/Noble did it) with an expensive squad.

That was the era when WHO became preferable to streams during games, as the football was so turgid, the manager so charmless.

There are good fishing threads and there are fishing threads by retards.

Re: Potential Bilic replacements
They should've given Curbishley a long contract and let him get on with his job without fucking him about.
Yes the football was boring but he was rebuilding and making progress.

Big fuck up, that was.

Re: Potential Bilic replacements
Yeah Curbishley was so good, no one has employed him as manager since he left us

Leonard Hatred 12:14 Wed Aug 26
Re: Potential Bilic replacements
Nobody can seriously say Curbishley had a bad management record.

Far Cough 12:17 Wed Aug 26
Re: Potential Bilic replacements
No but his football was TURGID, he made Allardyce look like Pep Guardiola

Scraper 12:19 Wed Aug 26
Re: Potential Bilic replacements
No, but his football was the most mind-numbingly dull we've ever had. Yes, way worse than Grant's, marginally worse than Zola's.
